Building successful communities
Westbury Partnerships is committed to building places where people want to live.
We aim to develop well-designed, good quality homes which are easy to maintain, environmentally sound and economical to heat. Most importantly we want to ensure that our homes form a vital part of successful, sustainable local communities.
Our mission is to be the country's leading provider of affordable and mixed tenure housing.
So why choose us?
Firstly, Westbury Partnerships is a division of leading housing group Persimmon Homes, dedicated to working in collaboration with residents, customers and partners.
Through our highly disciplined approach, we operate as cost effectively as a contractor to the quality standards and efficiencies of a dedicated housebuilder.
We're also experienced in working with local people, partners and stakeholders on regeneration projects of all scales - from vast city schemes providing thousands of new properties to small rural projects which enable villages to thrive.
We use cutting-edge technology developed in Persimmon's own 'Space 4' factory which has over a decade of experience in this sector.
These advanced manufacturing and construction solutions look natural and effortless – with technologies largely hidden within the building structure, invisible to residents - but are highly effective and flexible.
In addition, we provide a wide range of job and training opportunities, both at our manufacturing facilities and for residents of the communities we serve, including apprenticeships and carefully-targeted skills development programmes delivered through direct employment and in conjunction with our main contractors and suppliers.
Affordability and efficiency
Building affordably starts with building more efficiently. We design in savings at every stage – from minimising wastage on site to reducing lifetime operating costs.
Building affordably starts with building more efficiently. We design in savings at every stage – from minimising wastage on site to reducing lifetime operating costs.
Westbury Partnerships’ adoption of Modern Methods of Construction provides a step-change improvement over traditional building techniques. Designs exploiting panellised external walls and complete floor and roof cassettes dramatically reduce on-site construction times, site waste and per-unit labour costs.
Our products are particularly cost efficient on schemes which require a very low carbon footprint, including developments at Level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.
When we can contribute directly to the design process, we estimate cost savings of 10% or more compared with “ad hoc” construction solutions, which we believe are less adaptable and cost effective in meeting today’s stringent targets. These benefits will escalate as further improvements in energy efficiency and reduced carbon emissions are required.
However, it isn't all about technology.
Westbury Partnerships' teams use sophisticated techniques of costing and appraisal, best practice design, construction, engagement and communication in order to produce high quality, economically viable homes for our partners and residents, produced consistently on time and within budget.
Listening to our customers
We understand that people thrive in better-built environments.
We realise the importance of listening to residents and other local people, asking for their ideas and comments and understanding their needs and aspirations.
Last but by no means least, we are dedicated to providing efficient and responsive customer services - before we arrive on site, during construction and after completion.
